Breakfast in Salem OREGON

Brown’s Towne Lounge is Salem Oregon breakfast restaurant with over 15 specialty pancakes and six types of French toast.
The gist: Brown’s is, in essence, a bar with surprisingly good food, so brunch is usually booze-laden and free of crowds. Everything you’ll get is generously abundant including piles of hash browns, the stiff bacon and/or pickled-veggie-adorned bloody marys and the three-egg omelets. Fancy it is not, but it’s a relaxed spot for a no-frills brunch paired with some hair-of-the-dog.
Biscuits and Gravy: Well butter my biscuits and call me for breakfast time! They are always divine, where is that honey?!
Good for: Coffee, cocktails and plain-old bacon-and-eggs.
Must-order: If you’re a carnivore and want a steak the size of your lung, Brown’s 14-ounce prime rib steak and eggs breakfast is just $13. Want something lighter? Try the veg-heavy California omelet.
Need to know: Brown’s is casual enough that you can easily explain what you want and get it.
